According to the Nintendo Wikipedia, the DK Bongos are "a special controller that was designed to be used with the rhythm-based Donkey Konga series. The controller is shaped like a pair of drums made out of barrels, which match the theme of the Donkey Kong games. It has two "pads" on each side, although it is known that each pad has actually two different parts to them. It also has a microphone in the center that detects noise such as clapping". These controllers are one of our favorites because they're hard to find but they're also very sturdy. One of the easier controllers to play games with but since it's a Nintendo product, making the bongos work on other platforms is a bit confusing.

So here's the hard part: finding DK bongos. Ebay is another option but I still don't trust buying things on there. Honestly, the best way to find a pair of bongos is through local gaming stores. We bought all three of ours at Movie Trading Co.
You don't have many choices on this one. There are the MayFlash versions as well if you want to get one for $5 cheaper. Both adapters will work on PC and the MayFlash may actually be easier to set-up since it has a "PC" option.
